Golar Mark II FLNG

This project covers the supply of Temporary Cone Strainers, Spacer Rings, Y Strainers, and Basket Strainers for Black & Veatch under the GMK II FLNG development. The scope required a wide range of sizes—from 2” to 48”—and multiple material grades including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Nickel Aluminum Bronze, and Low-Temperature Carbon Steel, each selected to meet demanding offshore and cryogenic conditions. A key technical highlight of the project was the requirement for cryogenic impact testing at –196°C for most strainer types, in compliance with Table 323.2.2 and Section 323.3 of ASME B31.3. This ensured structural integrity and safe performance under extreme low-temperature environments. A total of 155 strainers were delivered for the project, serving Southern Energy S.A (SESA) as the end user. The strainer ratings ranged from 150 lbs to 900 lbs. Material origins included Korea and Canada, ensuring full compliance with project specifications. Fabrication was completed within the agreed accelerated schedule, supported by strict adherence to design codes including ASME B31.3, ASME B16.48, ASME B16.34, and ASME B16.5, with no U-Stamp required.

Rosmari Marjoram

This project involved the supply of a 16″x 24″,1500 lbs, Alloy 625 cladded Basket Strainer built for Shell, designed in strict compliance with ASME Sec VIII Div 1 requirements. Delivered within an accelerated 8–10-week timeline, the unit was completed with full end-to-end support—from design and material sourcing to final fabrication and quality assurance. The strainer was produced to Shell’s operational standards, ensuring long-term reliability in highly corrosive service conditions.

Whiptail Jaguar FPSO

This project involved the supply of Tee, Basket and Y Strainers for SBM Guyana, designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME Sec VIII Div 1, delivered with ABS Certification. The scope included 83 units in total, with key complexity arising from 9 units of heavy wall thickness strainers requiring hub-end connections. These specialized units demanded precise forging lead times with short lead time. The most critical challenge was achieving full fabrication of these heavy-wall hub-end strainers within an extremely compressed 6-week window, while maintaining strict compliance and ensuring zero non-conformities. Testing requirements followed Appendix A, Sch 4140, in line with specification demands. The strainers were built up to 2500lbs rating. Materials for pipes, flanges, and fittings were procured from reliable Korean and European foundaries.
